Product Description:
In response to industry demand for improved metal fittings that are lightweight, grease-free and high performance, our engineers have reworked our popular KQG/KFG and KQB metal fitting ranges. The new KQG2 series of stainless steel 316 one touch fittings are now up to 30% smaller and 62% lighter than the previous models, with 8 new options for a combined total of 17. Additionally, this series can now be used with a variety of tube diameters ranging between 3.2mm and 16mm.
The stainless steel 316 insert type fitting, KFG2 series, has also been improved. It now comprises of 9 model options, and is 44% smaller and 37% lighter than the KFG range. This series is now available with NPT threads and a 16mm tubesize, and can operate at temperatures from -65ºC to 260ºC when selected without a sealing thread agent. It also features sleeveless sealing, which allows for easier maintenance.
Lastly, there is the KQB2 brass range of fitting, which are up to 30% smaller and 62% lighter than the older models. This range has been extended from 9 to 17 models, with NPT and G thread options, as well as electroless nickel plating applied to all brass parts for a more durable fitting.
Applications:
SMC's KQG2T16-04S Pneumatic Tee Fitting is a one-touch pipe fitting designed for quick connection and disconnection of air and liquid pipes, with a shape of tee. It is made of SS316, and its temperature range is from -25°C to 150°C.
